This is my niece Alison...Candid shots outside and around the house. A little PS work around the eyes, and tried to lighten and darken certain areas.... Thoughts?? Thanks!!!
PS: Ignore the odd canvas sizes, I was playing around with borders.

1- Is my fav but I'm a little picky about portrait type shots in landscape. It does work sometimes tho
3- WB looks slightly off
5 - Is a nice shot, but slight OOF, maybe a different where it didn't cut the hand off
Overal nice shots tho.
great work with the photos being at eye-level. it really captures the child's POV
I am no expert and I haven't been here long but these are my thoughts (and you are welcome to ignore them as rubbish:lmao:)
1. Try not to cut off the tops of heads. Very good exposure.
2. Watch backgrounds when shooting outside, otherwise, great.
3. White balance seems off.
4. Great.
5. Again, try not to cut heads and arms.
If it helps, I'm pleased. If it is rubbish, they were not my comments!!:blushing:
Keep shooting and posting, you have a great 'eye'.
Andy
The thing that I notice most about these shots, is the background...they seem to be very 'snap shot' ish. It's great that you have a shallow DOF to blur it out...but if you want to improve the overall shot, do what you can to make sure that the background complements the subject.
Haha, yea it is her leg. Weird huh?
Thank you all so much for your comments, it really helps me out!!
My favorite is #4.
