Would a Laptop be Suitable If.......?

  • Ok im planning on buying a Macbook Pro. Im a college student at that and i was going to take it to class n all that good stuff. The computer would basically be a studio computer (Music). ANd with me taking it places all the time dosent fit well with me....Like i notice alot of people have laptops and dont take them places. So my question is. Should i just go for a beefy iMac or just get the Macbook pro??


  • If you're going to be carrying it all the time, then get the lighter one. However, if performance is a huge issue (doesn't seem like it would be too big of a deal), get the one that you can get the best specs on. However, I'd have to agree with the "Get a PC" comments. A PC would be much cheaper, and it will run just as well for what you want to do. There are also a lot more programs that you can use for a PC. Only get a Mac if you have to. Mac is just a fad.


  • agreed dells using Windows XP or Vista are superior to Macs.


  • get a DELL...they are much better.
